I was born in New York City and raised both there and in Los Angeles. My mother was a sculptress and my grandmother collected fine art. We spent wondrous hours in art museums and galleries together. Listening to these creative and refined women talk about art, and feeling the unexplainable emotions that it provoked in my young heart, created an appreciation for the power art has to speak deeply to us all. This appreciation lead me to study at Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles and in Paris. I was incredibly fortunate to study with such mentors as Emerson Woofer and Lita Albuquerque.

I always feel a sense of wonder and surprise when I approach the canvas and the colors and shapes begin to appear. As creativity flows through me, I feel the depths of my feelings and emotions welling up from within. These feelings blend with the colors to bring each piece to life. It is a moment of my self that is revealed on the canvas, a movement within the timeless.

My greatest hope is that when you view my art you will be touched by the unexpected, and that each time you look again something new is reveled.
